Unfortunately, freezing temperatures, storms, and
hail have caused a delay with the pool and deck
work. Therefore, the pool will NOT reopen at the
time originally planned.
Some of the items remaining are: finish tile work
including replacement of tile broken due to freezing
temperatures, raise up the floor returns, repair the
beam around the pool, replacing the tile on the
steps which currently does not meet the 12" height
requirement, marcite the pool, clean, retexture and
paint the deck. This work must be
performed sequentially and cannot be completed out
of order.
The freezing temperatures prevented the contractor
from setting any tile. The beam repair needs 7 days
to cure. Paint on the deck needs 28 days to cure
before furniture can be placed on it. Extreme
weather conditions have unavoidably caused these
delays. We will continue to post pool updates on
the association website as they are known.
