Bought these to use as a quick disconnect for my solar panel I mount to the roof of my Nissan Xterra. They work great and are super strong and since they are stainless steel they won’t rust!

Pins are well made, finished well, detent ball is secure, rings are maybe a little thin but feel solid.Problem is they are not 5/16" (.3125") They are 8mm which is .315" so they don't fit into a 5/16 bushing. Either the bushing will need to be opened up or these polished down. Would probably fit a nylon fitting or something that has a little give

Bought a pontoon with a bimini top. However the previous owner lost parts. We were using a few old bolts we had laying around but decided to get something better. Got these and had to drill the holes out slightly on the brackets for the top but work great and holds the top nice and sturdy without rattling. Easy pull to take the top back down
