Installed on my Hummer H3 2007 and it worked 💪 great, don't buy the cheap parts .. they will fail and cost you more $$ .. just buy this Gm Oem Quality assured.. I only buy the best for my vehicles.. this worked and fixed my temperature issue immediately, check engine light disappeared instantly.. Great GM ACdelco parts , I recommend it..

Worked like a charm, The heat-shielding on this one was better than what came with my truck. A non-working temp gauge means one of two things; either a failing temp sensor, or a failing thermostat. If you've replaced the thermostat and your gauge still isn't working, change the sensor. Here's are a couple of helpful protips to install:This sensor is located on the passenger side rear of the engine up against the firewall. Pry the harness up and out of the block. Using a small flathead screwdriver, push the tab on the harness in, and remove the clip so you can unplug the harness.Find or buy a cheap 5/8" deep well socket. Take a rotary cuttoff wheel tool and cut a 1/4" wide slit down the side of the socket that is about a little over an inch long. Do not leave any overly sharp edges, follow up with some rough sand paper if you must. Last thing you want to do is cut your new sensor wire.Using a combination of a long 3/8" extension and ratchet, slide the cut 5/8" socket over the sensor plug and allow the wire to hang out of the side of the cut you made on it. You should be able to break the sensor loose with the socket and remove it.Have a large clean bowl underneath the vehicle as you will leak some antifreeze. Either have the new sensor ready to go in when you remove the old one, or replace the coolant you lost or reuse it (I pour it though an old t-shirt to make sure no frame rust or sediment makes its way back into the cooling system).Tighten the new sensor snug but do not overtighten.Plug in new sensor and replace retaining clip.Start engine, and go for a drive to test.
