It’s going to take me longer to write this review than it took to change out the actuator in the tailgate in my truck. Works great and the part was an identical replacement.

Perfect fit and works great so far. It's nice to be able to use my tailgate again. It makes the tailgate secure when you lock your truck. I wish Ford had a by-pass of some kind from the outside so you can open an enclosed and covered tailgate.

If anyone wonder if it fits for a 2017 F350, I have attached a side-by-side picture with this unit plugged in. Less than 15 minutes to install.
