The parts (clips & cylinders) did not fit together, the cylinders were too small for any office chair and the screw driver was not adjustable. The purchase was of no use whatsoever.Ferraycle (or Amazon) refunded $15.00 and I returned the product . . . postage cost $24.00.$9.00 out of pocket and a great deal of wasted time.

I didn’t want to buy a new chair, and the actual mechanism is about as much as a chair. But these little things are cost effective, efficient and easy! Took me two minutes to put them on a tighten the clasps (my cat got involved otherwise it would have been faster). No sinking, no issues and there are so many extras included that it’s a no brainer.

First of all, this product could be easily replicated by anyone with the right diameter PVC pipe, a saw, and the right clamps. But this is a very attractive option with nicer fitting plastic bits, all for not very much money.Does it work? Yes. Very well. I highly recommend this (or similar) to save money on replacing otherwise good office chairs. Or keep this idea to yourself, and take home great chairs that your office is disposing of because the cylinders are bad. :)Edit: Based on other reviews, I do want to add that there's a reason this set comes with 5 plastic risers and 10 clamps. The compressive strength of the plastic is more than adequate but it has to be kept from buckling. That means using TWO clamps for each riser. I mean there are two specifically designed channels in each riser to keep them in place. Seem like it should be obvious but it isn't, I guess?

The hose claps (metal rings) are cheap and really hard to fit and I'm pretty comfortable with DIY/fixing things. In the end I order cable ties and used them instead, which worked but not a great product.
