When receiving a line of sight signal, 1600 miles is a bold claim considering the horizon is less than 100 miles away, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. This piece doesn't have a VHS element, so you're out of luck for channels broadcasting on RF channels 2-13. I placed this antenna as high as possible in my attic and it still had trouble displaying channels 4, 5 (both broadcast on RF channels 30), and 7 (RF channel 23) in Seattle without a lot of pixilation, these channels are less than 20 miles away. I replaced the antenna with a Channel Master Omni+50 antenna and picked up nearly double the number of stations, all crystal clear, including VHF.

This item brings back the greatness of cable with simplicity. It really gives access to a ton of channels. The picture quality was awesome and it's very easy to conceal with the stand that is provided that allows you to mount it.

I bought this antenna due to the poor reception in my area. Installation was a breeze, very easy. After installing, just a few minutes later, the myriad of channels that I got through the antenna where sharp, clear, and surpassed incredibly the images that I was getting with an indoor antenna I previously used. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

Awesome powerful antenna. Get all your local channels and the ones in between. Video quality is great, better than other antennas I've had in the past. USB powered off the TV. Found more channels than my old antenna. Very happy with the reception and picture quality.

I bought this antenna to get some channels to see since I live in a rural area and my connection is bad here. To my surprise I am able to see a lot more channels than I expected. It is very easy to set up and the instructions are easy to follow. Very happy with my purchase.
