My car door did not want to open or close properly, so had to use he key to open the door manually. The issue was locking it, since I'm not using to using the key to lock the door. Though, I was able to install this part without any issue, was simple and easy. Everything fit perfectly, and no issues. Once installed I went ahead and opened and closed the doors with the key fob, and there we go, it worked perfectly!! Definitely great for the price.

Purchased for my 2008 Saturn Vue XR drivers door. I had it professionally installed, as I just didn't want to mess with it. A year and A month later, if failed, not allowing me to open the door from the inside or outside.Looked at YouTube videos as how to remove the door panel with a shut door, And decided I needed to take it to the professionals. Nearly $300 later, I have an operational door lock utilizing GM original parts. Per the owner of the shop that replaced it, some internal parts of the lock mechanism failed, causing both inside and outside door handles to be inoperable.

Perfect fit for 2008 Saturn Vue Front Left ( driver's door). Easy to install if you are familiar working inside vehicle's doors, if not...the window channel will give you a good battle.Price is OK according to the quality of the part. Leaving only 4 stars because just installed it and don't know how long it last yet.

Old saturn vue, locks didn't work all the time. Got new ones and gonna try them.
