The original pump ring lock broke after replacing my fuel pump and there was a feum leak. This new ring fixed it. The bottom lock is it a bit tight so an extra hand helped. The top ring locked nice and tight and no more smells.

Replaced both pumps on car and I ordered two of these one sealed perfectly the other would not seal at all. Everytime I filled the tank it leaked, took it off and put a new gasket and re tightened but still not sealing. I'm going to reuse my old one since it was still good.

Got shipped on time and arrived when they said it would. Better than I thought it would be

One of the product reviews stated that the product is OEM. The package that I received was not in Mercedes-Benz packaging, but after careful study it is identical to the OEM ring kit that was on my GL320. While it took some time to determine how to separate the two parts, the ring kit installed easily. Since the locking tabs are forced back in order to remove the lock ring, I recommend replacing the assembly ring kit each time that the lock ring is removed or the fuel pump is replaced.

Came in a plain box, but it's a real Mercedes part. You should change these out every time you pull the fuel pump, since an old ring and an old clamp may not seal very well after being torqued a few times. Get the proper removal tool and tighten to 110Nm or 80ft.lbs
