I bought this to replace a fractal node 202. I liked the original node, but hated having to take the entire chassis apart for maintenence. The Ridge improves upon the original design in several ways. Instead of a monolithic frame it can be taken apart on each side. Top and bottom of the case have 4 screws, and the sides have a captive screw and pop into place.Super easy to access the inside of the case if you make a mustake or need to access the mobo.I HATE the new middle gpu bracket! I had to remove it 3 times before getting my gpu to seat properly.Im not sure if its supposed to but my case did not include an external power cable. Luckily i had a spare. The form factor can be intimidating, but i really like the new design, and it was a very easy build overall. For comparison, i also own a Cooler Master NR200, and found this easier to assemble.

They should warn you that it HAS NO POWER OUTLET PLUG and can only be powered by USB.Useless!

I've dealt with step up converters in the past and time will tell if they burn out. They usually get really hot, and running a bunch of pedals at 9V 1200mA (or 2A) shouldn't really be an issue, unless your Slash with like 3 hour solos, or Dead & Company, or Dave Matthews Band with like 4 hour concerts. With that being said, using this guitar pedal 9v step converter is a serious dream come true for gigging musicians. If your busking this is also a great problem solver, and for minimalist looking to use a cheap USB power bank and a few pedals.Haven't found any issues with hissing, pops or any humming. So far this pedal power distribution box has been working out.Includes 9 short guitar pedal power cables, that are short, so be prepared to purchase longer cables if needed. Also included are clear instructions and a USB-A to USB-C cable to power this distributor. You will need a portable battery bank that can supply 5 Volts at 2 Amps.I have plenty of pedals that run at 30mA and some at 60mA that are covered by this block. I also have plenty of power extension cables for guitar pedals. The cables that are included are barely long enough to reach a few pedals (about 4) even if placed side by side, but it seems to keep the price way down, they didn't offer a bunch of seriously long cables. Same with USB-C to USB-C cable, because we all have those laying around. I believe, and my gut tells me, AZOR did a good job of doing this, to keep the price down.I play in the style of Blues, classic and new. I only use a boost pedal and an IR pedal, so for me, this is a homerun I've been waiting for, because I also use a battery powered amp when mobile and just mic it with a PA system if needed. Will update this review, should anything go awry.

It's pretty easy to work with, but I recommend connecting the power cables before you screw the motherboard in. It's easy to disassemble & reassemble.

Seems to work okay without much noise. This power supply is very compact.
