2005 e53 X5Very happy with these clips and their price. I purchased a regulator thinking a cable snapped after my window suddenly dropped. Wrong. It was the oem window clips. They fit snug like the originals and now I have smooth operation with no grinding. I got my money back on that regulator.Tip: re-use the oem hardware. The special nut is designed to take the stress load by being tight against the regulator brackets. If you don’t gently seat bolt/nut, it will work loose and you’ll break the clips again

These clips worked perfectly for our BMW window regulators. We have done a few window regulators and this time, the clips were all that was necessary for us to restore the power windows to normal operation. I did learn something valuable during this most recent maintenance procedure: I believe it is valuable to snug the clip bolts, actuate the power window slightly, then again snug the clip bolts. Repeat this a few times until the the tension on the clip bolts stabilizes . // Our previous clips didn't break. Our previous clips simply worked loose over an 8 month tenure of use.

This was the second window regulator I replaced and both times I needed to replace the clips. The first time I bought them from BMW this time from this supplier for one third of the cost and the part was identical.

The product worked fine as intended. No issues. Shipping took a while but given the world situation now, I guess that's to be expected.
