When we received our product it looked great. The issue we found is that it only does crushed ice and regardless of what we have tried to do it will not do anything else. Just seems like a design flaw or perhaps a defective unit.

If you bought a Samsung fridge anywhere from 2014-2018 you know what an uphill battle it is with their ice makers. They are poorly designed and most of them cause a lot of damage to the ice bucket. I have had this part replaced at least 3 times within the last 9 years I've owned my fridge.Going through Samsung is a hassle and even though they do cover the replacement of this part (if it's within warranty) my previous appliance repair guy broke my ice bucket and unfortunately Samsung does not cover physical damage so I was out of luck until now. Samsung OEM parts go for at least $130 if not more. Found this ice box replacement and it's priced reasonably. Installation was simple and it took about 10 min and I had a working ice bucket. I did have to make a couple adjustments at first but it sits in pretty snuggly. As a note I only use this for cubed ice and not crushed ice. These ice buckets do tend to wear out more on crushed ice settings but I have not encountered any issues. Overall I'm happy with the performance of this ice bucket and will hopefully last until I purchase a new fridge (not Samsung ever again!)

I've had my Samsung French Door refrigerator for almost 9 years now. I had to replace the ice bucket several times for various reasons. Each time it broke in a different way, including a malfunctioning cube/crushed ice operation, broken spring, and broken worm gear. With that in mind, time will tell how well this ice bucket from GHAKUTB will hold up. As of now, I can say that it fits the same as the OEM ice bucket. Cubed and crushed ice dispenses properly.
