The paper is perfect to write on. This is my first Midori and I absolutely love it!

For about two years my go to Notebook for Journalers/Planners was a Dingbat. I wanted to try something new. I had always heard Midori came highly rated for fountain pen users. So, I decided to give it a try. I am very happy I did. Dingbats are great for Fountain Pens, as in they don't bleed or feather. Midori has that and really shows off the characteristic of the inks similar to Tomoe River paper. But I've never been a fan of Tomoe River paper because of how thin and flimsy the paper is. Midori paper is tough. Another plus that I didn't think would be a plus, was that the notebook comes unbounded. This allows the notebook to truly lay flat and allows for an excellent writing experience. I bought a cover the notebook and I think that has gone a long way in protecting the spine. There are no page numbers which would be nice. But has never been a deal breaker for me.To summarize I now have a new go to notebook.

I bought this to use as an everyday journal. It’s undated so I don’t have to feel pressured to journal everyday and the subtle dots is a great guide for writing straight. Paper quality is excellent! It’s just so heavy that even though it’s A5 it feels much larger than that! It’s nice to be able to fit a whole year’s worth of journaling in one notebook but I wish they made it in the B6 size too. As far as I am aware, these 365 days notebooks only come in A5 and A6.
