These shorts are great for my son who always complains about being hot. Initially, after reading reviews, I ordered size Medium 8/10 but found that although the shorts fit, there was no growing room for my kid (55+ inches tall, 75 pounds -- he's tall with an average build), who has a long rise... he would have been complaining about wedgies within a couple of months. I re-ordered size Large. They hit below the knees, but are not too big in the waist and will last through summer.

This was perfect for mini bouquets! We have approx 6 stems inside the baggies and they dont take up too much space.

Not sure if this is genetic or what, but for some reason, it seems that most young boys when they reach about 8 years old or so, virtually refuse to wear pants, regardless of how cold it seems to get. Growing up, we simply did not have the option, but oh well.Long story short (ha, see what I did there?) our son loves his shorts and as long as he is going to refuse to wear pants, at least he looks good. We love these almost as much as he does.

Love these! My grandson was so excited to finally get some colorful shorts! Love the pockets and the inset mesh on the sides. They look nice on too.
