Wide brim for great sun protection. Extremely comfortable. I love that it has removable ties to tie under the chin on windy days or to remove temporarily to allow it to hang on the upper back until you’re ready to slip it over the head again. Elegantly designed and styled. Goes with everything.

PROS:(1) For only $12.99 , you get a good, functional, sun-protective visor. So I'm giving this product 4/5 stars (despite the cons) because I'm factoring in what you get for the relatively low price, which is why I recommend it.(2) The visor offers both front and side protection, which is a must for protecting the entirety of your face. The brim extends around the front and sides of the hat, and is about 5.5 inches at its longest and 2.5 inches at its shortest.(3) The visor actually looks classy-ish, so while it's not fancy or anything, you can wear it with a nice sundress and look appropriate.(4) There is a detachable chin strap for windy conditions. Note that the chin strap makes the visor look much more casual (in contrast to point 3 above), but sometimes you do need it.CONS:(1) The structure of the visor that curves around your forehead is stiff. I like that the brim is stiff because it keeps its shape, but the band around your head could be a little more comfortable and less rigid. I'm going to try to bend it a little to loosen it up, and I probably won't wear the visor pulled down too far on my head.NOTES:(1) Because of the stiffness, I wouldn't use this as my default hat or visor (since I have hyperpigmentation on my face, I have an assortment of hats to help prevent it). But since the visor rolls up, I think it's a nice option for when I just need to protect my face while I'm walking from Point A to Point B, but where I don't need to wear it all day long.
