I own a commercial cleaning business and finally had to replace 2 all metal downpress wringers that have been in our service for more that thirty years and served us very well. I have been using these downpress wringers for a few weeks now and am very happy with the performance! I use one with a Wave Break bucket designed for this unit and the other with a bucket that is large enough to handle these puppies. These units are larger than my older ones so just beware that you may not be able to use this unit with your existing bucket due to the size, Purchasing this unit with the WaveBrake bucket may be a wise choice as I believe you can purchase as a combo. I prefer the downpress to the sidepress because it renders a drier mop. Just my preference after 50 years in the business. I have not been disappointed so far! Lets see if it lasts 30 years!!

love this thing. glad i got the down press. you can put much more force and therefore wring much more moisture. great for big, but finicky hardwood floors.PRICE TIP: i paid $35 because i mixed and matched bucket and wringer colors.CHECK FOR DIFFERENT COLORS BEFORE YOU PAY TOP DOLLAR!!
