These bowls are cute, and they are sturdy, but they are on the small side. I had wanted to use them for ice cream sundaes but ended up just putting the toppings in these cups and using bigger bowls for the sundaes. If you plan on using them for a ice cream sundae bar, it will only hold one small scoop of ice cream.

Many of the bowls were dented up but still usable, just not that presentable, especially for a 50th wedding celebration.

I used these cups for warm food (baked beans) at a potluck where there’s always so much food. So this size was perfect; not too big like a bowl and not too small like a Dixie cup. It was just right for people to try a ladle full or so. Plus the cups were pretty looking and fairly durable.
