Bought this to replace a thermostat causing a P0128 dtc code and check engine light. Removed old thermostat and found a torn rubber gasket blocking it from fully closing. Installed this new unit which fit well and looked well constructed, bled system of air using bleed screw and adding coolant (only about 20-30 ounces lost with install). I then used a vacuum tool to make sure all air evacuated from system. Started up after putting all components back and verified no leaks and good coolant level. First drive lead to overheating engine. Shut down quickly when gauge pegged and let it cool off. Coolant blew out of over flow catch container due to temp. Replaced thermostat with locally purchased one in the parking lot where the vehicle was shut down and replaced coolant/purged air. Started and allowed to warm up and the new thermostat opened as expected and motor stayed within normal temp with hot heater. Returning for refund. Buyer beware.

Perfect fit on 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 Pentastar engine, took only minutes to replace. If you are throwing a check engine light because it's not getting up to temperature in time its most likely the thermostat is stuck open. After replacing it will take a couple of days and aboutn100 miles or so for the light to go off on its own. But you will see the engine get up to temp quickly after replacement.
