When I saw this I thought I'd hit the jackpot, however this Cake Stand was a disappointment and not the quality I would expect for £19.99.Firstly it came flat packed and required assembly whilst this was easy to do it does seriously compromise the amount of weight the stand can hold and so I would not be happy for it to support an actual cake. Secondly, once assembled the stand did not look level. This is a major problem if using the stand it separate tiers of a cake. Therefore I would only use this for a lightweight dummy or floral decoration.Further more, the stand is not food safe and requires a barrier between it and the cake surface.Very disappointing would not recommend.

Comes flat packed and well wrapped so wasnt damaged. You screw base and top to the heart but the top screw has been welded to the heart at a slight angle so the top disc is sloping a little. You can force it a bit but then its not fully stable, dont think it will break or the cake slide off but not ideal.being on a bit of a slant...a double heart would work better.

This cake stand is a pretty design.It is quick and easy to assemble and can be taken apart for easy storage.It is not designed to come into direct contact with food. This is easily remedied by using baking paper between the cake and the stand.It is not dishwasher safe, so wash by hand to keep it looking nice.

I love the size it is heavy duty not plastic..not really a gold color more like a goldish brown
