My Shepherd girl is moose-size, so I was delighted to see how heavy duty & durable it is. Perfect control, xlnt length when needed and I have regained control on the lead. Nice enough to use in the show ring, yet heavy duty enough to use all the time. Cant wait to order one for my other Shepherd now. Best leash ever!

This leash is the perfect size to walk my ADHD corgi. He used to be a big puller and this leash helped me keep him under control until he learned to follow me. It's just so much more comfortable and enjoyable using this leash than your standard nylon leash, especially if you ever have issues trying to hold your dog back. I found myself constantly wrapping the cheap nylon leases around my hands and wrists to make it shorter and keep it from slipping. And when my dog pulled on the nylon leash, it would eventually start cutting the circulation to my hand, fingers, wrist, etc lol. This one does not. It's super thick and durable, easy to hold with one hand. And this is already short, no need to coil it up. You have way more control over the dog and it's much easier to pull them back or hold them in place. AND it's got a classy, more sophisticated look to it. It's my favorite leash ever.

I love the length and the thickness of the leash but have two criticisms: I've only had the dog/leash 2 months and the leather is fraying, with one strand of the braid broken, and the braid is quite rough on the hands when working with a large dog. Granted, my dog is huge (125) and learning to walk on leash properly so the leash has been through a lot.

This is my go to leash for loose leash walking and heal training for my young VERY strong German Shepherd dog, used daily for 3 months now. If anything changes i’ll update this review. For me it serves its intended purpose. I feel secure using this leash in my hands. Great craftsmanship in how this leash was made, It’s thick and braided with nice soft leather. it’s strong, you get a perfect grip with no slippage when needed, and looks great too. it definitely seems it will last over time. I highly recommended this dog leash added to my collection.
