I love the look and feel of this leotard. It fits fine but doesn’t offer much stretching room. I’d be a bit careful with the arms as the material is thin (you don't want it to rip). Overall, it is an elegant leotard.

This Turtleneck Ballet Leotard With Mesh Long Sleeve and Velvet is simply Divine! Everything is excellent - the quality of the fabric, especially the velvet, is top notch. The construction and comfort, all five stars. Plus, it is insanely flattering - so elegant and stunning.For the price, this is a must buy!

I ordered this for my 14 year old daughter. When she saw the picture, she didn't think that she would like it, but I have seen her choose this one several times now. She decided she likes it after all. It is very pretty. She needs to wear black for ballet, so she can still do that, but it offers something classy as well. I wasn't sure I knew what size to order for her, despite reading the size chart. She normally wears a size medium. I could tell these sizes were different from that but looking at the height she would have needed an XL, which didn't feel quite right either. She is about 5'6" but thin. I ordered a size large, and it is just right. A medium would not have fit her, so do not order your usual size without consulting the sizing. The material is nice, there are about 3-4 different types of material in this. The zipper seems sturdy, the front part that looks velvety is very pretty. It shows a little bit of cleavage, without being too much or uncomfortable. My daughter turned out to be happy about this leotard after all.

This leotard is exactly as pictured, and feels sturdy. I would advise making sure to follow the size chart carefully. As with other leotards, girth is the most important measurement here. I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs with a girth of about 60 inches so I went with a size large and it fits well.Because of the velvety material, I would recommend this more for performances and special occasions since it's too hot to practice in normally. The gray purple color matches the product photos exactly.Not sure if this is because I received this item through vine, but it did take about a full month to receive this item.

Although this is meant for ballet dance or gymnastics I have been wearing it as an everyday top it's elegant yet comfortable and the material is soft and velvety. I think this piece of clothing is very versatile in what you could wear it for and it can be worn for many different things.
