This is a really nice and highly visible safety vest. I use this when making weekly inspections of some bigger properties on my landscaping route during the week. It's great to wear when working private roads or high traffic locations with blind corners or fast drivers. It's very bright and visible in day and night time. There's plenty of pockets and some clips to hang keys or badges. They closing clasps are strong but never had a problem with snapping or unsnapping them when I needed to get something out of the pockets. The overall quality of the vest is very impressive, its light weight material is still strong enough for numerous wears and washes. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of the vest and how long it's lasted for me since it's my go to vest I highly recommend it!

Just got it in and already I can tell it's way nicer than the last 3 I've ordered. I use to spend around $20-$25 for a vest, this time $40 & the difference in quality is like night and day. I would definitely recommend spending the xtra $10-$15.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)I power walk in a neighborhood that has few lights and hilly to boot. After several close calls with drivers not seeing me, I knew I had to find something with good visibility-- namely a safety vest. I had one extra requirement though... it needs to accommodate my winter coat (that is rather full with down to keep warm). It's tough power walking when it is quite cold! That said, I ordered the SKSAFETY Safety Vest to give it a whirl. This vest is highly visible, with generous amount of pockets, and is rather sturdy as well. Here's my reality check:The vest is made of a nice polyester fabric of good weight all around. The listing says the back should be mesh, so using this in the summer might be a problem for some... but the polyester fabric is of medium to somewhat lightweight. Polyester does 'trap' in a bit of heat as it doesn't ventilate very well. I live in a state with tons of rain, not very hot, except for a rare week or so. Ditto for high humidity. So most people that live in states similar to mine will not be uncomfortable in this vest. I wish I can show you a picture of the fabric, but it is difficult to illustrate the weight of it. I'll submit something that might give it a clue. On a second thought, it is not the weight of denim-- that would be too heavy. The closest would be a twill like fabric of light to medium weight. Hope that helps. ;o)Moving on, the vest has gobs of pockets, and they all secure very well with velcro and some can be opened rubber (or silicone) tabs. You'll find two sturdy side zippers that open a unusual pocket in the BACK of the vest for larger, or awkward sized items, a nice feature to have! Inside the front portion of the vest are two stacked pockets on each side, the front one has a zipper and the back part has a velcro tab to keep the double pocket closed. Both sets of these double pockets are of good size, great for holding your paperwork, tablet, some electronics and whatnot. There's several grommets, and looking again at the front of the vest, a loop for a pen, as well as larger loops for radios, a walkie talkie mic, and the like. Lastly, there's pockets on both sides with elastic cording that's great for holding your water bottle, etc.Reflective materials are everywhere on this vest, from piping on some of the pocket flaps, to 2" wide across the vest front and backside bordered orange webbed tape. The reflective materials bounce back light very well-- which to me is the whole point of this vest, to be seen! Zippers are super strong, and a wider zipper is closing the front vest panels. There's even a padded mandarin collar in black. So far so good! Now comes the parts I'm not crazy about:The stitching is fine and well sewn. But I'm finding some fraying fabric, and loose threads found just about everywhere on the inside of the vest. A bit of the fraying fabric were getting caught in one of the zippers. I had to clear the loose threads out for the zipper to work. The finishing of the seams could be a tad better. As I said before, I ordered a huge vest to accommodate my overstuffed winter coat. The vest was actually a bit snug for a 4X... the shoulder/chest area is okay, but the waist seemed smaller. I have since bought another vest in the same size, and it was much roomier, truth be told.Update: I rechecked the sizing chart and I see where my problem is. The waist is not listed for this vest, only the chest. Trust me, the waist is a tad smaller (~2 inches) than the chest dimensions, so kindly be aware of that fact.In summary, I would still recommend this vest, just be aware of the fraying and some seams that could be improved. The sizing needs to be considered, as the waist is a tad smaller than the chest. Still, this safety vest does what it's supposed to do, namely, make you visible to all that surrounds you, especially at night. The pricing is fair for a heavy-duty, yet medium to heavy wieght reflective safety vest that doesn't have a mesh back (that actually may last much longer though! ;o)Give this SKSAFETY 12 Pockets High Visibility Safety Vest a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase.***********************************************************Update:An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah!Right now, there's a 10% off coupon to make your purchase all the sweeter!***********************************************************May Your Year Be Warm, Cherry And Bright! ;o)Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.

I'm not working construction, but I really like this as a reflective layer for bicycle commuting. In the summer temps it'll be too hot, but for now, in spring, it's nice. It's durable. The padded neck band is definitely a stand out feature. It's got a great amount of pockets. I stow my wallet and keys in one while riding. It's stripes are attention grabbing in low light and highly reflective in the dark. It's not something cheap or thin that will wear out quickly, and I like that it wears well under a large pack, while riding. Very versatile and fairly well made (not fantastic craftsmanship, but pretty good - mostly symmetrical, with decent seems, loses a star for production quality - otherwise, great).
