I switched to a basket from paniers for a short work commute because the latter was a bit of a pain to deal with unless you spend a ton of money on some fancy brands. This is perfect. It holds my lunch and my backpack. It attached easily to my Walmart e-bike stock rack. Bonus, I took it grocery shopping and it holds a 12 pack of beer and quite a few well placed groceries.

It's made of sturdy materials and feels solid once it's installed. I was able to attach it to my existing rack without much trouble, although the instructions were a little unclear at first.The folding feature is convenient for when I don't need the extra space, and it folds down pretty flat. However, one of the sides tends to stick when I try to unfold it, which can be a bit annoying. The basket also comes with a net and a rain cover, which seem useful, although I haven't needed them yet.My main issue with this basket is the price. It seems a bit expensive compared to other similar baskets on the market.

I have a cheap cruiser bike that is only 2 years old. I was looking for something sturdy to mount on the back for my dachshund to ride in as he loves to be wherever I am and he took to biking quickly at 8 years old (2 years ago when I got the bike). He averages around 17 lbs. for weight, so I wanted something that was strong enough and large enough for him to ride in.This is a really nice basket and it is very easy to assemble, but I had to make a few changes in how the brackets were mounted as my rear rack is wider on my cruiser than what the brackets were made for. I still used all the original brackets, bolts, washers, and nuts, just lined them up differently than what is shown on the product page.I like that it is collapsible but I do have one of the long sides that is sticky when opening it back up. Work with it for a bit and it will snap into place eventually. It does have the net and rain cover, but since I wanted it for my dog to ride in, I have not used them. Pretty sure he would not like either of those, lol. I put a folded blanket of his in the bottom for some cushioning for him and after making sure he is fastened in (again I improvised a system for that) off we go biking around the neighborhood.I am recommending this as it is versatile in what you can use it for and also it is pretty simple to adjust it for mounting when it does not exactly match up for mounting the way it shows on the product page. It is of solid construction and carries my 17 lb. dachshund without any problem. I do think the price (as listed on the product page on 10-12-2024) is somewhat overpriced. Just my personal opinion.
