First the bad news. These are not the same as the Maui Jim Guardrails original nose pads. The good news is they're better. The original nose pads are dark brown, much larger, softer and fit very loosely over the frame nose bracket. They come off very easily every time you clean the glasses. I lost one or the other several times but always found them until one finally disappeared.These are smaller, black, a bit stiffer and fit very snuggly over the nose bracket. They are still soft but not as spongy as the originals. Installing them requires a good push but that is a good thing because once they are on they are not coming off without effort.They also look better in my opinion.I am ordering another pair as backup. Highly recommended.

I bought a set of these to replace a nose piece that fell off my Guardrails. These are a direct replacement that matched what was on my sunglasses. The small hole on one end fit the attachment piece on the sunglasses perfectly. You just have to slide the new pad onto the metal nose bridge bracket, and you're done. Problem solved. As you can see from the photos, a perfect fit and match to the OEM guard rails nose bridge pads.
