Paso 1

Excellent! My stove/oven came with the cast aluminum version and what I assumed to be a teflon type surface, which I do not like to work with. This is the exact size as the original, but in cast iron. I read some of the poor reviews due to the surface, but like anything cast iron, it takes a few seasonings to get a non stick surface. Follow the directions for a cast iron skillet and after two or three seasonings, you'll get a great cast iron cooking surface. I just did my third seasoning and it now has the classic cast iron shine, and smell (good smell!)

This is an excellent product. About 4x's heavier than the one that came with our stove. This is a cast iron griddle not aluminum with a coating. Make sure you season it properly as you would with a pan. Works perfectly and hols heat. Have to make pancakes with a little less heat as it runs hooter due to its mass. Recommend but take the time to season it before using.

I bought a new stove/oven. And the store made it look like it has the griddle. I got it home, and there was no griddle. So we found this one. And it fits my Frigidaire. It also fits in my camp trailer stove.So far, I have been super impressed and it has functioned as I've needed!

I've cooked on Cast Iron for over 45yrs. This item was a complete disappointment. Quality was sub par due to the extremely thin cast iron. I should have known better when I took the box in off my porch. It was not Cast Iron heavy. I decided to try it anyway. I seasoned it exactly like I do with my true Cast Iron cookware. The sheen was missing after the cool down period. That is a red flag. So I seasoned it a second time. No better. I tried cooking a Prime Boneless Ribeye on it. Disaster struck. Absolutely no non stick performance on this item. It's simply a poorly cast with questionable quality of iron. Don't waste money on this item. I actually thru it in the trash as I did not want to even deal with sending it back to Amazon. Definite 1 star or less rating.
