Walking Club - Turnberry  6-2009

I would like to start a walking club in Turnberry. I had one in the past and it was very successful! I would like to name the Club - Arlene's Walkers in memory of my past walking friend Arlene Y.

Here is how it works: Call Dae Lynn Helm at 940-3404. Our group will start walking on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Turnberry. I will leave my house at 6:00 a.m. and make a loop around Turnberry phase 1& 2.

If you are interested in walking - join the group at your home when we pass. If you can not make it - no problem we will keep walking. If others want to walk more than 2 days we can make plans.

Walking Turnberry takes about 40 minutes and working persons can be home in time to get ready for work. All speeds welcome.

Rain or Shine. Please call me if you are interested. We will begin walking as soon as I can find a partner! Here is to a new beginning!

Home Schooling WGV

Are you home schooling your children?  Are you living in WGV?  If so, you may want to talk with others who are doing the same.

Kimberly Atkinson is home schooling her children and would like to get together with others.

This from Kimberly...

I am a resident of the World Golf Village, specifically Turnberry.  We home school our children and would like to connect with other homeschooling families in our area.  Is it possible to put my contact information on the website so other homeschooling families can contact me?  I would like to host a gathering where the families can get to know one another.
