In my family, everyone is a huge fan of corn on the cob. But some of us have trouble eating it off the cob because of their teeth. So when I saw these corn peelers, I knew right away that I wanted to try. I tried them with both raw and uncooked corn. The raw corn works better than cooked because it’s more dense/solid, but cooked is almost the same amount of effort. For both raw and cooked, the challenge is getting started and also getting the corn off the tips when the cob starts to taper in. They do create a bit of a mess as you go, so use a big plate or cutting board to capture all the kernels. But overall I think it works well. I didn’t see any information about product care, so I’m uncertain if these are dishwasher safe. This is essential information that should be clearly communicated.

Para ser sincera no esperaba mucho del producto, pero resultó muy útil, si bien le tienes que encontrar la forma en la que mejor te acomodes para usarlo, cuando lo haces es muy práctico

It’s an interesting kitchen tool for this type of task. On the other hand, I sincerely believe that the central ring should be smaller in order to reduce the loss of flesh from the corn cob, even for fully mature cobs. In addition, this tool is relatively sharp at both ends of the outer ring. There should be a protective edge to limit cuts. It remains sturdy and easy to wash.
