I'm plenty satisfied, very bright at night and barely noticeable if installed properly. I liked the adhesive backing. The spare connectors came handy while installing in the trunk of my 2014 F30/320i. I placed electrical tape at the far ends of the tips kept bending upward slightly; this will keep them from accidently getting snagged while loading & unloading materials in the trunk. Good purchase at a reasonable price.

Needed a better light than my factory trunk light for deliveries at night. Was teferred to this product by another Amazon Flex driver and it's been a good purchase. Easy to install in my 2015 Ford Fusion. Just popped the plastic lens off and popped the bulb out. In its place you put the white plastic capped wire piece where the bulb was and then attach to the light strip. Popped the lens back into the trunk lid and attached the strip for even lighting in the trunk. So far so good...its super bright and makes deliveries so much easier to see. Good buy for the price. We'll see how long it lasts.UPDATE: May 15, light atoped working about 2 weeks ago. finally had a chance to look at it. one of the wires came undone from the strip and I dont or not gonna waste my time trying to have it re-sodered back on. The wiring is think and jenky, so you get what you pay for. it was great while it lasted 2 months.

Installed in a 2018 Kia Forte. When the package came, I guess I thought it would be larger. It is a small box. The first few pictures compares the size to a few quarters. While the whole package is small, it provides decent light for the trunk. There are no instructions but, it is not too complicated to figure out if you can replace a lightbulb. Here are a few technical details about the product:The strip is about 19.5" inches long. About half way down the strip is a soldered-on pigtail at the 10" mark. The pigtail is about 2.5" inches long. There are 30 LED's on the strip (specified in the product description as well). They are of the 5050 SMD design. LED strip has foam-based sticky tape for better cohesion (as opposed to normal LED strips). The kit comes with two connectors and an extension wire.Festoon type spring load plug and pin type plug. Connectors are 2.5" inches long.Extension wire is 12" long. The festoon bulb is what I had and used the festoon connector. The LED strip is polarity-sensitive, so test which direction the festoon connector should go in.In my case, the existing light was in the center of the trunk, so did not need the extension wire. Everything tucked up into the light socket area when I replaced it. One note of caution, when sticking the tape to the underside of the trunk, don't get it too close to the hole where the existing light facility slides back in, or it could be impacted.I tested the strip prior to install to make sure everything worked (someone noted earlier they had a few of the LEDs not working, in my case everything worked fine). The tape on the LED strip is foam based 3M (at least as labelled) tape. When installed, had good adhesion (unlike traditional LED strips with the paper-think sticky tape). I don't expect this to fail anytime soon. The results were fantastic. As can be seen in the pictures, before and after shots are dramatic (well, maybe that's overkill, but it was pretty cool). This was a great value, and easy project to do. I would recommend to anyone that has a dim trunk light.

This LED strip is an EXCELLENT alternative to the light for your car trunk. There are no instructions, but if you even have novice mechanical skills, you should be able to switch these out. It took less than 10 minutes to install and have light! If you don't have an idea about changing the light out in your trunk, here are some basic steps to assist you:1. Locate where the light source is located in your trunk.2. There may be a clear cover with a tab that will need to be pressed as you pull the cover off.***Be careful of wires that may be still attached to the cover or light plug as you pull it off.3. Look to see you have the SMD 5050 (plug-in bulb with 2 wire prongs) or the 6418 type (glass tube with cone-shaped metal ends)4. Depending on the type you have, mount your light strip so the center wire connection is within 5 inches of the light plug.5. Connect the appropriate plug type into the LED strip connector, making sure the Red lead and the Black lead are mated the same. (If necessary, use the included lead extension, matching the red and black wires also.)6. When you plug in the connector adapter to the original trunk light plug, the light strip should illuminate.7. Enjoy having sunshine in your trunk!!!I would definitely recommend this upgrade for your trunk!!
