This is the exact same battery pack as one I tested before that was labeled with another brand and fits a different vacuum cleaner. The only difference is the wire connector. I tested this one also. It achieved almost exactly the same score as the other one, so I can say these batteries at at least consistent.So this battery pack contains four lithium 18650 battery cells connected in series, for a voltage range of 12 to 16.8 volts. When I received this battery, it was charged to 13.1 volts. That is typical. It needed to be charged. I charged it to 16.5 volts. I then attached it to a fan that drew an average of 0.5 amps across this voltage range and let it run. It lasted almost exactly 4 hours before the battery management system (BMS) kicked in at 12 volts and shut it down. That would be about 2,000 mAh.I consider 2,000 mAh to be reasonable performance. If I had charged it to a full 16.8 volts it would have scored a little higher in my test, by up to 200 mAh more. However charging to the highest possible voltage reduces the lifespan of these cells.The claim of 3,400mAH capacity is way too high, as are most all of these battery claims. At least I can assure you this is not some rip-off battery that only puts out 500mAH. I've run into those.I've seen reviews that take apart the battery pack and see that the printing on the cells claims less mAH than is advertised, so they give the battery pack a 1-star rating. That may be deserved, but I grade on a curve. All batteries I've tested fail to live up to these inflated claims. The printed capacity on the side of the individual cells is also almost always a lie. It is what it is, so I deal with it and try to give you more useful information rather than an angry rant about there being liars in this world. If a seller claims an accurate capacity of 2,000 mAh, they will lose sales to the liars who claim 3,400 mAh for the same battery. So they lie. That's the world we live in. That's why reviews like this are valuable.This battery pack is worth buying. You could do worse.

Good replacement battery. Pre-charged on arrival. Voltage and capacity are accurate.
