I received this product for review and I put it to the test almost immediately, I found that the sanding pads worked wonderful for refinishing a dining room table that I put sever fresh coats for polyurethane and wet sanded it in between the coats so my finish coat was sanded to 4000 grit. You can believe how smooth this table surface is, it honestly feels like it has talcum powder on it when it is completely dry. I can't describe the smoothness it's simply incredible. The new soft pads that you add on makes it real easy to sand around corners and rounder surfaces without flattening them out it is just a all around great kit and well worth while. I think if you looking for something to get that extra sanding surface smoothness this is definitely it. So yes I would recommend this for purchase it is well worth the money and works fantastic.

Having used headlight restoration kits before and having had my wife's headlights cloud up in her car, I decided to give this kit a try since it matched most of the grits used in the kit. Using a custom sanding solution during the procedure and sealant at the end with a commercially available fine polish before applying the sealant, the headlight restoration looks like it turned out as good as the professional versions. Was able to install the pads into a right angle drill in lieu of a grinder and just switched directions during the sanding, the paper held up well and didn't clog too badly. Highly recommend this kit for correcting headlight finish, just remember to seal your headlights afterwards because you're removing the remaining UV protection from the headlight!

I have a Dewalt battery operated grinder and a more traditional 120V grinder. This will not screw onto either one like in the advertisement pictures.

I tried a couple of these sets to compare and to get a better range of sandpaper grit. This set cleans up and polishes what the other set with heavy cutting grit starts. I tried both on a drill and an angle grinder, the latter of which was much easier to control since it had the extra handle. The pad is just flexible enough not to gouge at the edges. Even the sandpaper worked well without getting clogged too quickly. This hook and loop paper works better and is easier to use than the sticky paper I've used in the past. The pads in the 2 sets were comparable, with the other one looking more professional due to the labeling this one lacked. I think it's a pretty good value for what I'd expected to pay for less sheets of sandpaper, not even including the polishing bonnets and pad.
