I wanted a simple leather bag to carry around my I-Pad Pro and it fits perfectly inside it. I was expecting a simple interior but they actually dressed it up and provided a few separate pockets. Love it! The bag looks awesome and did not have a bad smell. Leather..yes. But not horse saddle leather smell if that is what you are looking for. Maybe it’s the goat?? Smells a tad pungent but definitely does not stink up the closet it is hanging in. The buckles were all carefully wrapped. I did order it in the winter, and the package arrived very damp…maybe during transit. Anyway, the bag did have a fair amount of white spot mold all over it. We did a quick Google search, found an easy solution to mix and wiped the bag down and left it to hang in the sun in front of the picture window. Cleaned it up beautifully. I love the bag. Love the way it hangs on my shoulder during my walks. And expect this thing will last a long time as it looks very well made! Super happy!

This bag is well stitched, real leather and very limited smell. It’s not cow hide, likely goat as others have said here.Space was more than enough for my laptop, iPad, and office carries. Or taking a hike for some sketching/ journaling.If you are someone who wants polished hardware that never rubs off or uniform spotless leather - don’t get this bag. It won’t make you happy and you’ll end up returning it. This is a bag that is meant to take a beating and hold up; not a purse that requires a dust jacket.It’s leather that has imperfections because that’s normal for leather. It’s rough because it’s meant to age, get scratched and develop more character. It’s simple enough design means it can be fixed by a local shop rather than tossing it into a landfill.While it comes rather stiff, using Bick 4 Leather conditioner and cleaner will soften it drastically without changing the color. (The picture with the pill bottle is right out of the box; the next is after I conditioned it; love that Bick 4!).If you think you are going to get Coach level quality materials for this price you are not being realistic in your expectations. I mean someone actually returned this because it had spots? It’s an animal skin, animals get scars, leather isn’t made in a sterilized factory.If you want a bag that can take rough handling, go outside, that can be repaired, that is uniquely designed and you understand what leather is and how it handles as a material - then you may like this bag. If you take care of your leather products you’ll probably like this one as it softens but stays structured.Before you buy, ask yourself what is your expectation on how you’d use this bag. Will it add value to your day/outings or does the idea of a scratch or a raw spot in metal annoy you? Both WILL happen and how you may react to that will determine if this bag is worth your investment.

The title of this review should provide those in a hurry with the deets, as the kids say. While the overall design of the satchel is outstanding with a nice esthetic that harkens back to traditional leather-craft goods, it is the untenable off-gasing that unfortunately prompts an immediate return of this item. Having owned leather goods in the past, I can safely vouch that the intense odor which surrounds this bag like a cloying group of fans at the Taylor Swift gift tent is not, as some have determined, the rich smell of leather. This is absolutely a chemical after-burn from whatever alchemical process was employed to finish the leather. If it were not for the smell, this would have been a favorite every-day bag, as the overall construction appeared to be quite robust although the strap could have used a few more notch-holes for better shoulder carry sizing. The overall size is perfect for a medium weight laptop plus other personal items and the bag even features a outside seperate phone pocket to keep that vital extension of our selves safe but available for quick access. The combination of magnetic closure and buckle securement provides excellent protection while carrying your gear, while the neat tailoring of the overall piece would definitely turn heads and prompt comments. Sadly, until the manufacturer can address the residual chemical issue, I shall remain bereft of this potential praise on my stylish accessory choices and continue to cart my things in a second-hand shopping bag.

I love my bag. It has come in handy with carrying my materials for my job. The one thing that is upsetting is the leather that holds the strap has tore and it is not repairable without spending an extra 20.00 dollars at the leather repair shop.

This is a very sturdy leather carry bag. Very utilitarian. Fits my laptop. The leather is thick and should hold up to use nicely. I bought it for travel, so it will be banged around trains, planes and automobiles, hopefully for a long time to come. (I will see how it holds up - another review might be necessary.) As far as some other reviews here, I don't know what product those people bought. This is a leather bag. It smells like leather. It's not at all unpleasant. Leather smells like leather. What did you think it would smell like? Roses? Being a larger person, I was concerned that the shoulder strap might not be long enough to wear the bag cross-body, making it an attractive target for all those pleasant people who hang out in train stations, especially in Europe. It fits my ample carcass just fine. Yes, the leather is somewhat stiff but I'll start working it with conditioner and it will no doubt soften with use. The green canvas lining is practical and the zippers and snaps work just fine. Good value for the money.

Lo marcan como piel, pero en realidad no lo es, si esta bonito el producto y tiene muy buen aspecto, pero no es de calidad

Me encanto todo solo que la pedí de 18 pulgadas y me llego de 13 realmente me gusto pero de 13 no me sirve ya que no me caben las carpetas tamaño oficio por eso la regreso pero su material y todo está muy bien
