I bought this carpet playmat rug for my kid's room but after using it for a few weeks the edges started to fray a little bit. it is not durable and tends to move around on the floor unless I put a non-slip pad underneath it, which is inconvenient. I am disappointed as I was hoping that it would last a bit longer and was made of stronger material.

Cars do not roll easily on this mat. They snag and catch on fibers repeatedly. We were using quality die cast cars.

Grandson plays on this for hours at a time. He has little people figures and cars that are just right for the "roads" and his imagination runs wild....which I like very much. This rug doesn't scoot on the floor either, so that's a plus. We don't fold it up at all, we just roll it and stand it up in a corner until he wants it back out to play, and he can just pick it up and unroll it and he's good to go. It's really well made and fairly thick. The fold creases from when it was packaged disappeared after just a few times playing with it. He spilled some juice on it and it pretty much beaded up and I just got the juice with a paper towel. I think if you let any liquid set on it, it would probably soak in, but I can't speak as to washing this rug yet because so far it hasn't needed it.

My grandson loves this rug to play with his trains and cars. It appears durable and good quality to last a long time. It’s a bit rugged, so I think it could be used outside in good weather. The size is good for that big imagination.
