PROS:This mic with preamp works great. The microphone cord is heavier duty than my other go to mic with preamp, MOVO.Both mic/preamp combos are great options, each with its own benefits. The benefits of this one are that you can use whatever mic you want and plug it in to the preamp, So I can use my headset mic instead of its included Lavalier.CONS:I’ve heard other people complain that it’s gotta be in just right When plugged into the zoom Multi stomp Or it will lose connection, however, that was not the case for me.I wish it could be a little smaller, however that’s not a dealbreaker.I also wish it had an elbow one for the 1/4” plug, but that’s not a big deal- I use an elbow adapter I have on hand so it will ride along side my zoom multistomp.

After I attach the mini mike to the outside of my accordion the rest is plugged into my amplifier using reverb too . The sound is very good compared to other mikes used to amplify accounting instruments too. The extra long cord is a plus.

I would give mine 0 Stars if I could. This is absolutely the most worthless piece of junk that I have ever purchased. It doesn't even thread to the casing and when you plug it in it constantly shorts in and out. Can't believe I waited a week for this. Guess I'm going to have to go to Guitar Center and see if I can find something that's actually useful.

The mic is a typical two wire condenser which requires a bias voltage to operate. This is supplied in the barrel of the phone plug by a single AA battery. Please note: the mini phone jack in the back of the large phone plug came loose and needed to be tightened. The mic is sensitive enough and the included clip is handy. If you want to run Without the large 1/4" phone plug directly into a mono mini-phone jack, apply the bias voltage directly to the tip connection of the mini-phone jack. I used 8.2k ohms from a 3.3V source. The supplied circuit is 2.2k ohms from 1.5v. You may also need a blocking capacitor from the tip connection to the input . The unit used 10uf.
