El producto se ve bueno, pero hay que revisar bien lo que uno compra y verificar con el modelo a remplazar.

Installed the window struts on a 2004 Jeep Overland, which is basically a fancy Grand Cherokee. I recommend screwing in and securing the bottom part of the strut first, and then snapping in the ball head upper part. Hardest part is basically removing the old factor strut, as there is a plastic cap covering the upper ball part of the strut attachment. Use a thin screwdriver blade and pop off the plastic cover at the top, then pull the upper portion of the strut off the ball attachment. The lower part is simply removed by loosening the TORX screw.Quality of the replacement struts is excellent. Someone mentioned that the metal shaft was not stainless steel and may rust. In my opinion that would take a while, if ever, as the window is mainly closed and therefore the strut shaft is pushed into the strut cylinder so it is not exposed. I think wiping it once or twice a year with a slightly oily rag would hinder any rust development. Even that may not be needed.Great unit. I know there were dozens of choices when I ordered. I analyzed them all and came up with this one. I am glad I did; I think I chose well.

Los soportes de mi camioneta estaban totalmente oxidados y ya no hacían su función pero ahora que los cambie funciona excelentemente, fue muy fácil hacer la instalación aunque no traen manual.

I installed this kit of three pairs of hydraulics less than a month ago, so I can't give a realistic long term estimate of their durability. That said, they all fit well and were sufficiently high pressure (as was appropriate to their function) that they should last a long time if they don't leak. The hood struts went on in minutes and can be done (with care) by one person. The rear window struts involve torx screws (as do the OEM struts) and were a bit trickier to install, but also could be done reasonably safely by one person. The rear deck (rear door) struts used torx screws on both ends and were sufficiently difficult to install due to the physics of the door and the high pressure of the mounts, that I strongly recommend that you have a helper to do the work. The rear door fit is tight and having a helper to hold the rear door open (Its really heavy; heavier that the hood) is almost essential. You could get hurt pretty bad if something slipped at the wrong moment. This is not the fault of the strut, just the way the door works. Just be mindful of what you are doing and you should be fine. Finally, by buying the kit, I got a great price and was insured that they would fit perfectly into my 2002 Jeep Grad Cherokee Laredo. By the way, I used anti-seize on the torx screws upon reinstallation. When they eventually wear out, they won't be too hard to remove.
