My outboard lower unit drain plug would not budge and was starting to strip. I ordered the 8 piece set and the 3rd largest standard head fit the drain screw nice and snug. I used an impact driver and screw came right off. Saved me a lot of frustration and money getting this off on my own. i used the philips one on several rusted screws on the boar rod holders and they help up perfect and took everything off. Amazing product

I'm always in the same frame of mind when it comes to Ball end hex and torx... to use them only when needed and at a certain point something is going to give either the fastener or the ball end. In my experience (Having both cheap and High end) ball end bits break at the ball almost as often as the fastener rounds off. With these I expected the same however the price and the convenience of the case they come In I got a set. To my surprise again and again for being as low cost as they are they are very well made to a good tolerance that fits the hex and torx bolts very well and bite the bolts well slipping and rounding less fasteners then with my other round ends. I have had these for a while now and I have yet to break off a single ball end to my astonishment. I showed them to the Mac guy (My favorite set of Hex and Torx extractors despite their price) having warenteed quite a few ball end extractors... I think he is getting a set XD. Absolutely great value for money only wish they had the same bit type like these but in long shank that would be killer.

I ordered this because I wanted this type of bit set but with a black case. All of the photos for it show a black case. It came in a blue case. I could have gone to the filler shop up the road and gotten one in a blue case for half the price. I know it's only a colour but it is still frustrating. Additionally the rubber molding is very poorly done and the bits are poorly constructed. The advertising said that this would be a well made set and it even compared the hole positions to "cheaper" sets. However the holes in some of these security bits are even worse than the ones that the advertising said was poor. Don't buy these. Not worth $5
