DO NOT BUY YHIS FOR YOUR 96 SIDEKICK JLX!! This will fit over the hood but not correctly, the tape does not work at all.I tried to use the screws but where the mount holes are will cause you to drill through your hood. I was able to get it to mount in the old holes of my last wind deflector and it looked good for a moment.Until I tried to close the hood and it would not close, I wasn't even able to reach the latch to release the hood without having to use my knife to reach in and release it because you will not be able to get your fingers in unless you have really long and really skinny fingers.I tried to hack it up and modify it like another bad reviewer and thought I had it. I tried to close the hood again this time it cracked in half.I wouldn't recommend buying this at all for your sidekick. I'm not sure it will work on the other vehicles that are mentioned it's for.But buy at your own risk, you may end up wasting money as I did. I ended up putting the old wind deflector I had on previously which defeated the purpose of this purchase.

Unfortunately, the quality of AVS has gone downhill since 2020. I've purchased several items for a few different vehicles over the past few years, and the last time I got a good bugflector/visor from AVS was in 2019 for a 5th gen 4R. Those were cleanly finished, not warped, the adhesive was straight and uniform, held perfectly, the color was consistent... perfection! After that, all disappointments.The window visors for my 4DR Sidekick were three slightly different shades, tape was a patchwork of weird strips and scraps of 3M, the shape was off on the fronts, the rears had different lines so I couldn't get them level and visually aligned, and the edges were chipped, weren't deburred at factory etc.This Bugflector looked a little odd for the Sidekick, like they were trying to avoid the old "blocky" 1980s style by adding curved wings off the ends. It looks too big, sticks out too wide. Weird, made it look absurd.The holes for mounting didn't line up with the multiple holes provided by Suzuki under the hood lip. AVS expects you to use low quality self-tappers, which are just long enough to maybe pierce the outer hood. So, they didn't even design it for this vehicle, basically... at least not with any competence.I tried their tape "installation" method. Lasted a week. A wobbly, puckered week.Now I get to hack it up like a mad scientist in an attempt to make it fit, since it's been "used" and is of course non-returnable. That gives it an extra star, up to 2. Melting and rending this abomination should be at least mildly satisfying.

They look very nice and feel durable. I still have not installed them as of yet. Will update if anything changes

Installed on black 95 Tracker. Looks fantastic! Fairly easy install. Seems to be a quality product.
