I bought this car and a Walthers car, and the color and configuration of both match, which I was concerned about. Both cars are Phase 3, and the other car, the Walthers, is the last car in the Amtrak train. Bachmann didn't have one, so I went with the Walthers for that car.I did have a problem with this car going through my Bachmann switches. I swapped out the couplers for longer ones, and it solved the problem. I did the same on the engine, and that alone might of fixed it. Doing it on the car may help the car that is behind it, so I did both ends of the car. Instead of not being able to crawl through the switched, it can go full speed. I gave it 4 stars, because this problem is easy to fix, and might not be a problem with the car itself.This car preforms great. It has two light bulbs in it at each end, and it looks like they are at each end from the outside in the dark. They could have done a better job on that, and they do flicker for all the normal reasons, which I might fix.
