This battery did not insert as easily in my Bosch drivers as the OEM battery but that may change over time with repeat insertions and removals as I switch tools using the same battery. I was however not able to use this battery with my Bosch 6-1/2" cordless saw. In all fairness though, I was also unable to use my Bosch Core 6.3Ah battery with that tool as well. The only battery that seems to fit that tool is the 1.2 Ah battery either included in the kit or included in another Bosch kit I purchased. These 5.0 and 6.3 Ah batteries are too tall to fit in the space allotted. The saw base interferes with them being used. I was surprised but I have only used the saw with the shorter 1.2 Ah battery. I was looking for longer working time without having to recharge the one battery. My only choice may be to try and find a second 1.2 Ah battery if I can.Battery worked OK with my driver. No way to know how it will perform over time.

This Prezoye replacement battery came fully charged with all three bars lit and was protected by a box and bubble wrap. I’m more use to the five power-level lights provided by Bosch batteries, but I three lights are better than two. This battery fits my various Bosch tools (GDX18V-1800, GLI18V-1800, GSB18V-535C, CRS180, GWS18V-8N) and my Bosch GAL18V-40 charger.This replacement battery has a feature that the Bosch batteries—at least the ones I have—don’t offer: a three-LED light set that emits a small amount of light. It’s probably equivalent to the light emitted by one of the drills. It’s turned on and off by pressing and holding the power level button on the battery. The light is rear-facing, so it shines away from the back of the drill when activated.My OEM Bosch batteries that came with the tools were 4.0Ah and weighed 1 lb 3.4 oz. This 5.0Ah replacement battery weighs 1 lb 5.1 oz, or about 1.7 oz more. I’ve also noticed that this battery sometimes requires a little more force when attaching to or removing from a tool. It's nothing too troublesome, and I’m not sure if this will loosen with additional use.The Prezoye battery has roughly the same footprint as the OEM battery, but it's about 1/4" narrower and approximately 9/16" taller. Considering the 1.0Ah capacity difference, I’d expect this replacement battery to be slightly larger which it is.Overall, it’s a good battery to add to my ever-growing collection of tools, plus it’s kind of like clamps — can you really have too many?
