My three year old loved this set. The book was really great and had interesting pictures. He loved using the water pen to color things in and also just enjoyed looking at it while in the bath. Now this may be user error, but I found that the book got very moldy very quickly. We ended up tossing it because it was so gross. The fact cards are fun though, and we continue to get enjoyment out of those.

Great for toddlers, I actually use the book for the bath instead. You can use the water coloring pen instead on the book, it’s really up to you! There’s a cute little plastic toy turtle with a scuba mask on that’s also great for bathtime. The flashcards are definitely for kiddos that are a bit older.

This set is very educational and has a lot of information to read about ocean animals and other interesting facts. Overall, it includes one folding waterproof booklet, one book that changes colors as it gets wet, and 20 informational cards with pictures and animations.The set of cards (20 in total) is very nice. They are waterproof with animated images on one side and real pictures of the same thing on the other side, and have some cool facts. Did you know that baby crabs sometimes climb on sea pigs? I sure didn't, but I do now! What's also nice about the cards is that they are color-coded and sorted by what depth of the ocean each animal lives.The book is a nice water-coloring book that changes colors as it gets wet. There are 6 pages of scenes that your child can color. The included water pen is cute, but we occasionally had some issues getting it to work consistently. That's really the only drawback we found, and if they could make that water pen a bit better this set would be perfect!

These may work really well on something other thab the saw sharpener shown on the same page as these.
