Our 6 year old daughter loves these!! Plus we know she is safe on our walks while she rides her bike on the sidewalk

The designs on the padding set are very cute, but the sizing isn't quite right. I bought a size M for my 4-year-old son, hoping it would last him a while, but it’s already too small for him

This pad set was bought for an active 3 year old. The child is not chunky or heavy set. The gloves and elbow pads fit nicely, but the knee pads are only about an inch bigger and too tight.

The big question concerning pads with younger children is: Will they actually wear them? And keep them on while they need them?So, the No. 1 issue in our family was: Will our granddaughter like this design? And that was a resounding yes with unicorns and princesses.Then, will they fit? We felt fortunate that these did fit. We wonder, given the wide range of shapes and sizes of children these days, if some families might order this set and find out they got the wrong size. The "size chart" on the product page seems confusing to us. There are lots of numbers and measurements there, but exactly what do they mean? That "size chart" wasn't helpful.We did see that the company does encourage customers to return pads and get a different size if they received the wrong size, at first. We did not need to test that offer, so can't comment on whether the company actually responds, but at least they do offer that option on the product page.

These protective pads are longer than what you normally see in stores so it offers a greater area of protection without actually making it harder for you to bend or squat. We like the two secure wraps instead of one on the top and bottom of the knee and elbow pad to secure the pads firmly to a position and it is hard to slip or move around. The padding is soft and does really help with minor to intermediate bangs.The thing we do not like is that even though it looks good, the fabric based outer material, gets scratched and gets dirty, and might not look bad anymore. Also there's not an option for matching helmet :(
