Not a bad blender but too strong to use to blend hot chocolate in a coffee cup. It also forms a suction in the bottom of the cup and will shoot the chocolate over the edge of the cup. Even on lowest speed setting it is too strong. The main reason I bought it was to blend the hot chocolate as my old hand held blender died. In all fairness it works well for other uses. The price was good and it is easy to clean as it comes apart for cleaning and storage.

This is a quality blender for the price. There is plenty of space between the blender and the actual electric base, so the motor doesn’t emerge in the pot as deep as 6qts. Very happy with this purchase.
