We didn't use this product right away as it was too cold at the time, but we were getting ready for the spring watering season. About 2 weeks ago, we charged both batteries up, went out to transfer water, and one battery was dead out of the gate. The other battery worked great. We used it several times now to transfer water with just the one battery, NOW that one battery is also not charging... Of course we are out of the return window. We have also tried to use the DeWalt batteries that it's "supposed" to be compatible... but they only work for 5-10 seconds, but these same Dewalt batteries are working great with our other items..At this time I could NOT recommend this product.

The pump works very well and seems to have great build quality. However, it shuts itself off after 6 seconds of running, I have tried different batteries to no avail.

i'm giving it a 3 stars right now, because despite what the website says, "no priming required", it does require a footvalve, to get it started... i am trying to get it working right now, but i'm having difficulties, because it turns on for about 10 seconds and then shuts off... it is apperently equipped with a "dry run" over-ride, so i can't figure out what is going on right now, but i'm going to attach a foot valve and prime the hose with the foot valve, and see if i can get it goingEdit: February 25, 2025The pump is actually quite good.. it does not require a foot valve.. to get the water "sucked", make sure it's not over 6 feet, otherwise it won't prime itself, but i was on level ground for priming, and the lift was about 20 feet, so the pump ran for about 8.5 minutes, on each battery, hence they give you 2 batteries... but overall, i am quite happy with this, considering it comes with 2 batteries and a charger as well... note that you can pump about 70-80 litres before the battery stops

Good price for what get impressed that Dewalt batteries compatible can't wait to use it for transfer fertilizer liquid from stock tank to gardens
