I got an Original Boppy for my first baby, but it really just wasn’t ever enough support for nursing. I tried using a pillow on top or under it, but inevitably I would hunch over to meet her, which just left me feeling sore all the time. It was awful and I had all kinds of muscle strains! It's worth noting, I'm quite tall (5'10") and a lot of me height is in my torso.I intentionally looked for a new nursing pillow for my 2nd baby because my experience with the Original Boppy didn't cut it. I’m so glad they made a new edition!! It is a huge improvement.Here are are the specific improvements with the new edition that I've noticed compared to the Original Boppy:1. Provides much better support: The original boppy is nice and comfy to the touch, but it was not near enough support to get my infant to my breast. This new edition is SO much more supportive! I've been using it for months now, and it's stayed supportive and hasn't become squashed with use.2. Stays in place: The Original Boppy is shaped like a C. Because of the shape and amount of material and stuffing at the ends of the C, it was almost impossible to keep it snug against my body. The Original Boppy didn’t really fit well around me in the rocking chair, my baby was constantly sliding between my body and the pillow, and I was constantly pushing the Original Boppy back into place. This new edition is more of a U shape with shorter arms, less material, and less stuffing at the ends. I'm not sure what about the shape makes it better, but it stays snug against my body SO much more easily. I rarely have to push it back against my body to keep it in place. My baby never slips between me and this new boppy.3. Material. My Original Boppy is the “luxe” edition, so the material was extra soft at first but became balled after repeated use and washing. The material of this new boppy is very smooth and comfortable even with repeated use and washing. My infant loves the pattern and often tries to play with it after they're done with a feeding.My ONLY complaint is that because the pillow is stuffed and more firm, it's very difficult to grab with one hand (which is all I have most of the time when I'm holding an infant). I never had an issue grabbing the Original Boppy with one hand because it's squishy and easier to grasp. I really wish there were small fabric handles on both sides of this new boppy so I could grab it more easily with one hand. I'm considering sewing on some myself.Overall though, I'm extremely impressed with the new edition! It's also worth noting that the Original Boppy advertises to be a sitting support for infants with tummy time and while sitting. This edition is exclusively a nursing pillow and they discourage any use other than for feeding.

I have an original poppy, and while it's okay, I thought i would try this one since it seemed thicker and more solid. I do like that it is larger in general. The slight downward angle from the main area to each corner is great for getting a good angle for baby to feed from. It's comfortable, and easy enough for baby to sleep on when feeding. The animal print is very nice, it definitely helps cover up spit up stains lol. I will say that if you are bigger breasted this may be a bit of an issue for you as I'm a DD and I almost feel like my baby might struggle to breathe while feeding because of the slight downward angle of this pillow. Besides that, I love the shape, the solid fill, and the pattern.

This is the cutest design ever on a nursing pillow!! I love it so much. The pillow itself is firm enough to support baby but soft enough to be comfortable. It goes well tucked to the side or in front or however you need it! It's just a really high quality nursing pillow. Would make an EXCELLENT baby shower gift.

This new Boppy is so much better than the last version. Nothing really beats the OG Boppy, but I did have some small issues with it. This new version fixes all those issues, so this is pretty much the perfect Boppy in my eyes. The shape just fits better around the body which allows it to fit very snugly which is crucial in a breastfeeding pillow. It is more firm and the bigger/longer surface area for the baby to lay is just more comfortable for both baby and mama. Of course, the cover is still removable and washable. And I absolutely love the fabric design. The colors are really pretty. I applaud you Boppy for listening and improving!

I am so impressed by how well made and comfy this pillow is. It has excellent support and is plump full of filling. It doesn't squish down easily like my prior pillow. Plus the fabric is very soft and smooth which is especially important for my wee babe.The size is ideal and the cover is easy to unzip for much needed washes. There is a zipper/clip on the insert pillow so if it is too full, it's easy enough to remove some filling using a paper clip to pull the clip since there is no zipper pull.I love the design too. The print is colorful and the animals are adorable.Oh and this did not arrive vacuum packed. It was ready to use right away without wrinkles.I had no idea nursing pillows could be so different in quality, size and support. I wish I had ordered this one initially instead of the one I did select. At least now I have an emergency back up for when I wash the cover on my preferred Boppy.These are such high quality and the stitching is straight, strong and there are no loose threads.Durability wise, I foresee this lasting for as long as needed, whether that be months or years.
