Fitted them to a 2007 car within 10 minutes. Now no danger of the glass dropping on my fingers.

These work well. When you are removing the old shocks, you don't have to open the hatch window and can just open the rear hatch door. This is because the shocks don't take much force to compress them. But, when you install the new shocks, they are difficult to compress. So, attach the upper part of the shock to the rear window first. Then, unlock your hatch window and close the hatch door. This will make it so that you don't have to compress the shock at all and can now attach the lower part of the shock to the door frame. Otherwise, it may seem like the shock cannot be compressed to fit. Now that you have it attached to both the window and the door frame, you can close the hatch window.
