Application is smooth and the glue dries as applied (meaning it doesn’t run). Also, given the volume of flies I make, it’s nice to know the glue is non-toxic.

Smooth quick drying one coat to perfection. Their uv clear fly finish only uv I've used without tacky stinky finish GO loon.

I was unable to use the product because it was completely dried shut. I didn't realize it right away and then tried to return it for a refund but it had passed the refund date. Not happy.

Works like a charm, wish the brush that comes with it was better quality but it works.

I just got this but I have used it already. I ties flies primarily for warm water flyfishing - panfish and bass up to a couple of pounds. Most of the flies I tie have rubber legs and I stop to apply glue 2 or 3 times depending on the pattern. Superglue works OK though it does just soak into the thread or chenille in some cases but primarily it attacks the rubber legs and any contact between the unset glue and the rubber legs will destroy them. I use epoxy but that means stopping to mix it which is wasteful and time consuming. This product does a nice job of covering thread and sealing it and the drying time is no longer than the time taken to mix epoxy and let it set. And since it's water based it certainly does not attack the rubber legs. I used it on a cool (55F) and humid day and the drying time was not longer than for quick set epoxy. I will likely order this in some additional colors such as white, yellow and red. It should be good for painting on eyes and painting poppers as well.
