This is a perfect option to gloves or mittens. My hands stay warm and the insert can be heated in the microwave. It’s convenient to have on a car ride and looks fashionable.

This product is very well rec'd by my Friend, who is a Senior and has continuous Cold Hands! She loves it and she had mepurchase an additional two as gifts for her friends.

This is a wonderfully cozy hand warmer to keep in the family room for those cold winter evenings. It is packaged beautifully and would make a great gift. It is soft and snuggly indeed and does the trick helping keep hands warm. I do feel that Brookstone took a couple of shortcuts in design which is why I am taking a star off despite loving the product overall. First, the size could have been more generous - longer sleep would ensure better hand coverage and heat efficiency. As is, it only accommodates hand over hand placement, which could have possibly been not as much of an issue if not for my next point. There is only one heat pack which covers/heats only half of this hand warmer. So if my hands must be one over the other to fit into this warmer then only one hand at a time comes in contact with the heat pad. I have to keep shuffling my hands to alternate heat exposure. This could have been easily avoided by designing a larger heating pad with 360 coverage (optimal) or at least designing a larger sleeve where both hands can rest on a heat pad at the same time (second best option IMO). I feel that at the price point of $46 these improvements are a must for a true five star experience. On sale as it currently is for $19.99 my tolerance for slight imperfections certainly goes up. Overall, it is a neat little hand warmer - it only needs 20 seconds in the microwave (up to 3 times if/as needed) and you are on cloud nine.

Myself, to keep hands warm.The big bulky tags on outside are rough to touch. I like the gell to put in microwave, I guess batteries would work, but if left in would corrode, miss up whole thing. This is fine with me. Maybe keep away from cats...

Bought this for my grandma who is 99 and has "poor circulation". Her hands are always cold. The heatable gel pack is warms the sherpa and she LOVES IT! this was the best gift for her. Not difficult to use for someone who is older. I definitely recommend.
