This cable is awesome. it has this super smooth feel to it that I'm guessing is the coating to make it easier to pull through conduit and whatnot, but I just liked the feel of it while hanging it up. Didn't leave any residue or anything anywhere either. Takes up less room than the old two connector style... Its like a fatter single strand. As for the durability, while it still seems delicate (likely just old habits from regular fiber) I actually inadvertantly tested it yesterday.I have this cable running from my room (modem) along the tops of doorframes to my desk in the living room. I "temporarily" routed it through the corner of my door , planning on doing an attic run eventually, and just always keeping my door open. WELL, someone decided my door definitely needed to be shut... and shut it on the cable.and well, I suppose I should eventually route it properly but after today I'm in no rush :)I dub this cable "onix" and give it a 9.5/10!

I’ve used this several times now to pull cat6 and fiber through about 150 feet of conduit. It is very strong and the webbing slides through the conduit easily.

I pulled two 25' through about 21' of 1" conduit with no issues. I had my own pulling eye kit, the conduit was empty and not sharp turns so it was easy. The cable is stiffer than standard fiber patch cable and seems to be durable but I installed it with care knowing that it's not indestructible.I tested the cable before and after installation and had no issues connecting two switches at 10G.

I got this to replace a DAC that was running 10Gbps between a pair of switches that I have on opposite sides of my office. The DAC was a little too short (by maybe a foot or so), so I took that as an opportunity to get some SFP+ and this fiber cable to replace it. Install was dead simple, just install the SFP+ modules into the switch, then snap the cable into the modules and the link came right up. the cable is pretty thin and flexible, but it does feel more substantial than a normal fiber patch cable. I’m not sure that I’d use it outdoors outside of a conduit as it’s not the heavy grade cables that the ISP runs from the curb to your house or anything like that. But running across a room or in a basement or crawlspace seem like great places for this sort of cable.
