Title pretty much says it. 1st step was obviously hooking up the plumbing. Both ends of the braided flex tubing leak. Obviously I'll have to fab something up to adapt to the 1/2NPT fitting on the end of the supply line.Hard to imagine things getting better when power is hooked up.Edit: Things got worse. This item was offered to the USA market which requires two line inputs plus neutral and ground, but the hookup is for non-USA power systems that use 240V line and neutral. There's no way to supply power to the unit from USA line supplies.

There are a lot of considerations that go into deciding whether a tankless heater is a good choice for your setup, & what size and power heater you need. Perhaps the most important thing to know is that unless you are a pretty handy and confident DIYer in both plumbing and electrical work, then you will need to hire someone (perhaps two someones) to do the install and that can be quite costly, depending on the complexity of the situation. Sometimes costly enough to erase any savings you might get from the efficiency boost. For this 240v heater, you will need a 32 amp, double pole breaker, and 10 gauge wire minimum. 32 amp breakers aren't supper common in the States, so you'll likely end up with 40 amp and 8 gauge wire. Check your panel and make sure you have the room. The next consideration is the temp of your well or tap water, and the desired flow (expressed in gpm or gallons per minute). Refer to the chart provided and read up on whether you can even achieve what you need with a 6.5kw heater. Generally speaking, this wattage is used for sinks not showers, though you might be able to get away with a shower install if you can plumb it close enough and are ok with lower pressure. You should also seriously consider adding the valves necessary to flush instant water heaters with a cleaning solution that helps prevent (or at least slow) the build up of minerals that will corrode your elements. All that being said, this is a decently built model that works well with the proper install. Longevity is the big unknown and the bugaboo of this industry, so I'll have to come back and report on that. The last thing I will say is that I know no one who wants a big, meaningless no-name brand emblazoned on their products and I can't see any good reason for this practice. These brands barely last a year in the market, they're always switching to escape bad reviews or under new ownership, etc., the names are often auto-generated nonsense, and its just an embarrassing eye sore in my opinion. I'm begging these companies to stop doing this.

The heating speed is really fast. You can get hot water in a few seconds by turning on the faucet. It is very convenient to wash dishes and hands in winter, and you don’t have to freeze your hands anymore. And it is small in size. It doesn’t take up space under the sink, which saves a lot of space than those large water heaters with water tanks. Its intelligent temperature control function is also very practical. When the water flow is large, the temperature will drop slightly, and it will be hotter when the water flow is small, so you won’t be scalded when the water is boiled. The safety aspect is also good, with overheating protection, so it is safe to use. However, before installation, you must pay attention to the fact that it requires 240V voltage. If your home only has 110V, you may have to change the circuit, otherwise it will be troublesome if you can’t install it.

This 6.5KW tankless electric water heater has been a total game changer for our kitchen setup. We were tired of waiting forever for hot water to reach the sink, and this solved the problem instantly—literally. The water heats up right away, which makes washing dishes and cleaning up so much faster and more efficient. For the price, it’s honestly a steal. It delivers solid performance without the high cost of some bigger-name models. Installation was straightforward—especially if you have someone in the household familiar with basic plumbing and electrical work. No major headaches, and it was up and running in no time. The unit is compact, so it fits neatly under the sink without taking up valuable space. The self-modulating technology and overheating protection give some extra peace of mind, and the continuous flow means no running out of hot water mid-task.If you’ve been dealing with long wait times for hot water or want to upgrade your kitchen efficiency, this is 100% worth it. Reliable, easy to install, and it works exactly as promised. Highly recommend for point-of-use applications like kitchen sinks or utility areas.

Love the size and that it fits out of the way. For some reason the install wasn’t as easy as I expected. No leaks and warm water really fast and then started getting hot. So far so good.
