Suction cup doesn't hold the bulb. The poles are difficult to snap together. Had to us pliers to push in. The metal is thin.

make absolute certain you tighten the little screw like your life depends on it otherwise when you're unscrewing the bulb, you'll unscrew the bulb holder from the pole. Otherwise, it's definitely a good investment to have this because we had to wait about a week before we had light in our stairwell. Also, the little grippers that help unscrew the bulb, I had to push them all down except one when I put the new bulb in because I couldn't get it to come off it was so snug. It takes a few minutes to figure out how to use it.
