I had purchased a second hand E5 Roomba. But it would back up and go in circles for a minute or 2 until it gave me error code 9 which had to do with its bumper sensors.Cheapest fix would have been to replace the transistor chips in the bumper sensors, alas I don't own a soldering tool. SO I found this whole module. Installed it in less than an hour, and fixed the error code.Shipping was fast, product came in working condition, and was reasonably priced.10/10. Thank you!

If your roomba is already broken what’s the harm in trying to fix it right? This was a direct replacement for my 890. Be aware you will be taking your roomba almost entirely apart to do this so if you aren’t much of a tinkerer this might not be a job for you.

These sensors work flawlessly, preventing my robot vacuum from tumbling down stairs and helping it navigate around furniture with ease.Installation was straightforward, and I noticed an immediate improvement in my Roomba’s performance. It now moves more confidently around my home, and I no longer have to worry about it getting stuck or damaged.

It's sure this product is fine but let me stop you right here—you will not be able to repair your Roomba. It is too difficult and simply not designed to be repaired in this fashion. Save your money for a new Roomba.

Works like a dream now. Definitely a challenging installation procedure, but fixed the problem very inexpensively.
