I absolutely loved this product, it was more than I expected! Expected i was one gold spoon short. The product only came with one spoon, i was a little disappointed. But other than that i loved the product! Will make an excellent Christmas gift!

These mugs are on the smaller side, about 12 oz., with the lovely message for parents. They have gold leaf in the message and around the rim, so are not microwave safe. I haven't tried, so can't say for sure, but I also wouldn't be comfortable putting them through the dishwasher. They each have a matching coaster made of the same ceramic as the mugs. Both coasters in my set have a small dimple in the center, and if I put the mug down off-center, it can be a little wobbly. And of course, ceramic doesn't absorb or contain any drops of liquid that might spill on it.They come with these tiny little coffee spoons that I've seen in multiple similar sets. I guess I don't really get why you'd want such a small spoon to stir your coffee, but it's cute and adds something to the set.They're wrapped up in a nice gift box that's lined with a shiny satin inlay. My satin didn't entirely cover up the styrofoam beneath, so I would need to realign it if I were aiming to give a nice looking gift.
